They have a fully operational workshop that allows them to cater to the diverse needs of clients. Remec prides itself in staying at the forefront of evolving technology, equipment and control systems in the industry. Remec are seeking a 1st, 2nd or 3rd year Electrical Apprentice who demonstrates a strong willingness to learn and take direction. The successful candidate will enjoy problem solving, working with their hands and possess a strong work ethic. The successful candidate will:Demonstrate a genuine interest in the electrical industryPossess a Certificate II in Electrotechnology (desirable)Must be willing to undertake shift style work including evenings and weekends as requiredHold a current C Class driver’s licence and have own transportAbility to listen, follow instructions and ask for assistance when requiredAbility to work well with othersBe punctual and reliableUnderstand and abide by workplace health and safety regulations The selected candidate will be trained in various aspects of electrics. Duties will include (but are not limited to):Cable and cable tray installationSwitchboard workPLC controlsMotor wiringCool Room wiring Please note: Whilst the workshop is located in Malaga, work can take you across Perth and WA. You must also be available to work evenings and weekends as required.
