Apprentice Plumber (2nd or 3rd Year)

Ace+ is seeking a motivated and reliable 2nd or 3rd Year Plumbing Apprentice to join our growing team.
Established in 1962, Ace+ delivers construction, maintenance and trade services across a diverse range of industries throughout Western Australia. With 131 staff, including 27 apprentices, we are passionate about supporting the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
About the Role
Working alongside experienced plumbers, you will gain hands-on experience across commercial construction projects while continuing your apprenticeship training and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist qualified plumbers with the installation of plumbing, gas and drainage systems
- Use and maintain hand and power tools safely
- Carry out general labouring and site preparation duties
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and requirements
- Learn to read plans, specifications and technical drawings
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Attend trade school and complete apprenticeship requirements
- Work collaboratively with tradespeople, apprentices and site supervisors
About You
You are a current 2nd or 3rd Year Plumbing Apprentice who is:

Essential Selection Criteria
- Currently undertaking a Plumbing Apprenticeship (2nd or 3rd Year)
- White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Current manual driver's licence, or working towards obtaining one
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively within a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional attitude
- Genuine willingness to learn and develop plumbing skills in a commercial construction environment
- Physically fit and capable of performing manual labour
- Ability to work across various Perth metropolitan construction sites
Desirable Selection Criteria
- Certificate II in Plumbing
- Exposure to commercial construction plumbing projects
- Experience working from plans and specifications
- Basic hand and power tool competency
- First Aid Certificate
- Working at Heights Ticket
- Elevated Work Platform (EWP) Ticket
