Mecon Construction is seeking a motivated and mechanically minded Apprentice Boilermaker to join their team in Henderson. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from experienced tradespeople, and work towards a nationally recognised trade qualification.

As an Apprentice Boilermaker, you will gain practical experience in fabrication, welding, and structural steel work while completing your apprenticeship.

Key responsibilities include:

• TIG, MIG and Stick welding
• Sheet metal fabrication
• Structural steel erection
• Safe use of hand tools and power tools
• Basic fitting and fabrication duties
• Assisting experienced tradespeople on a variety of projects

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A genuine interest in fabrication, welding, or engineering
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Exposure to hand and power tools
• The ability to work well within a team
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Commitment to completing an apprenticeship
• A current driver's licence and reliable transport
