Geppetto’s Carpentry is seeking a motivated and reliable 1st Year Apprentice Carpenter to join their team. With over 17 years of experience, the business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential and commercial carpentry projects with exceptional attention to detail.

About the Role
As an Apprentice Carpenter, you will work alongside qualified carpenters and gain practical experience across a variety of projects while completing your formal training.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting qualified carpenters with daily tasks, site setup, and pack-down
- Measuring, cutting, and installing materials under supervision
- Safely using hand and power tools
- Maintaining clean and organised worksites
- Assisting with materials handling, deliveries, and equipment management
- Completing training requirements and competency documentation
- Demonstrating a professional attitude and willingness to learn
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- A genuine interest in carpentry and the building industry
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to work effectively within a small team
- Good communication skills and the confidence to ask questions
- A commitment to completing apprenticeship training and TAFE requirements
Preferred Requirements
- Current Driver’s Licence or actively working towards obtaining one
- Completion of Year 12 and/or a Pre-Apprenticeship in Carpentry
- Ability to travel to various work sites across Perth
- Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and safe work practice.
