About the Role

The apprentice will work alongside qualified technicians and be trained in all aspects of dry fire systems installation and servicing, including:

  • Fire cable installation

  • Conduit and containment installation

  • Fire sealing

  • First and second fixing of fire system devices

  • Testing and commissioning

  • Maintenance and fault finding

Typical working hours are from 6:00am to 2:00pm, in line with site requirements.

 

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Willing to learn and committed to completing a qualification

  • Punctual and reliable

  • A team player with strong communication skills

  • Interested in electronics and electrical systems

  • Educated to at least Year 10 level

  • Comfortable with early starts

 

Preferred but not essential: A current driver’s licence.
