The Opportunity
We are seeking a Full-Time Apprentice Mobile Plant Mechanic to join our team in Kewdale. This role offers hands-on experience working with heavy diesel equipment and industrial machinery while completing a nationally recognized trade qualification.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM â 4:00 PM
Location: Kewdale WA 6105

Key Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of qualified tradespeople, you will:
- Assist with maintenance, servicing, and repairs of Vermeer equipment.
- Perform inspections, fault diagnosis, and basic mechanical repairs.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Learn and apply workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Complete job documentation and follow training plans.

Essential Requirements
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence (or willingness to obtain).
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability.
- Physically capable of performing manual tasks safely.
- Commitment to completing a formal apprenticeship and trade qualification.
