About Worsley AluminaWorsley Alumina is an integrated bauxite mine alumina refinery and port operation located in Western Australia’s South West region. This role is based at the Worsley Alumina Refinery with the benefit of being home every night and easy access to Collie Bunbury and surrounding communities.
The OpportunitySouth32 Worsley Alumina is seeking a motivated Apprentice Second Year Fabrication Tradesperson to join the team on a full time basis. This position is offered as a three year fixed term contract and operates on a four days by ten hours day roster.
Applicants must have successfully completed first year training requirements in the Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication Trade specialising in boilermaking and welding.
Key Responsibilities- Continue developing fabrication boilermaking and welding skills under the guidance of qualified tradespeople
- Participate in fabrication welding and maintenance tasks within an industrial environment
- Work safely and comply with all workplace health and safety procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Contribute positively to a collaborative and safety focused team culture

- Current C Class drivers licence
- Successful completion of first year units in Certificate III in Engineering
- Fabrication Trade as an apprentice
