The business delivers residential and commercial projects across WA, including staff accommodation, lifestyle villages, granny flats, caravan parks, and mining camps.An opportunity is available for a full-time Carpenter (First and Second Fix) to join the team and undertake a Certificate III in Carpentry.Key ResponsibilitiesStructural Carpentry (First Fix):Construct and install:Light steel wall framesRoof trusses, trimmers and raftersFloor systems and substructuresInstall prefabricated wall frames and roof systems on siteSet out, measure, and cut materials in accordance with plansEnsure structural alignment, level, and plumb during installationInstall bracing, tie-downs, and fixings in line with engineering requirementsExternal Works:Install cladding systems (e.g. fibre cement, timber, composite panels)Construct pergolas, decks, and outdoor structuresInstall windows and external doorsApply weatherproofing elements such as sarking, flashings, and sealantsInternal Carpentry (Second Fix):Install:Internal doors, frames, and hardwareSkirting boards, architraves, and trimsCabinetry and joinery componentsCarry out finishing works to a high standardRectify defects and complete final adjustmentsGeneral Duties:Read and interpret construction drawings and specificationsCoordinate with supervisors, trades, and subcontractorsMaintain tools and equipment in good working orderAssist with loading, unloading, and material handlingKeep work areas clean and organisedAbout YouGoal oriented and focusedFast learner with a strong work ethicGood communication skillsSelection CriteriaDriver’s licence (essential)Forklift licence (beneficial)This is a full-time position based in Denmark, with work carried out across workshop and site environments throughout WA.
