Apprentice Fabricator

OEG Group is a leading multinational organisation operating within the oil and gas logistics sector. Our services include equipment rental, product supply, and chemical handling and storage solutions.
We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Apprentice Fabricator to join our Perth based workshop team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience while working alongside qualified tradespeople and developing practical skills in metal fabrication.
About the Role
In this position, you will:
- Assist in the fabrication of equipment to a high standard
- Read and interpret structural drawings
- Gain experience using a variety of fabrication tools and machinery, including CNC waterjet cutters
- Work within a small, supportive team environment
This role is ideal for someone passionate about fabrication and looking to build a long-term career in the industry. An apprenticeship may be offered to the right candidate.

Desirable Skills
- Pre apprenticeship in Engineering (Fabrication/Sheetmetal)
- Previous welding experience
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Certificate II in Engineering (Light Fabrication) or similar
- Current forklift licence
- Manual driver’s licence

Salary
