WA Custom Glass is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join its team as an Apprentice Glazier. This full-time opportunity offers structured training, hands-on experience, and a pathway to a nationally recognised qualification in the glazing industry.

 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Apprentice Glazier will be involved in a variety of tasks across factory operations, logistics, and on-site installations. Training will be delivered progressively over the course of the apprenticeship, with clear expectations and milestones for each year.

 

GENERAL DUTIES

Factory Fabrication

  • Cutting glass and aluminium
  • Assisting with limited manufacturing processes
  • Conducting quality assurance checks on incoming products
  • Maintaining factory cleanliness and equipment

 

On-Site Learning

  • Supporting installations of pet doors, shower screens, windows, and doors
  • Learning glazing techniques under supervision
  • Transitioning to independent work by the third year

 

Logistics

  • Delivering and collecting frames, products, and job site materials
  • Managing check-in/out of job-related items

 

APPRENTICESHIP PROGRESSION

Year 1

  • Develop proficiency in factory cutting and manufacturing
