Healy Contracting is seeking a motivated Apprentice Roof Carpenter to join its small and experienced team. Specialising in roof carpentry for new residential construction, the company works on homes for reputable builders across the Perth metropolitan area.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a carpentry career and learn the trade from the ground up while working on a variety of residential building projects.

As an Apprentice Roof Carpenter, you will work alongside experienced tradespeople and gain hands-on experience in all aspects of roof carpentry. Duties will include:

• Assisting with roof carpentry on new residential builds
• Using carpentry tools and equipment safely
• Measuring, preparing, and handling materials
• Working safely at heights
• Following instructions and contributing to a small team environment
• Developing the practical skills required to become a qualified carpenter

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn a trade.

To be considered, you should have:

• A current driver's licence
• A strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Willingness to work outdoors and at heights
• Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team

Experience is preferred but not essential. Applicants who have completed a relevant pre-apprenticeship are encouraged to apply, and recent school leavers are also welcome to apply.

• Full time employment while completing a Certificate III in Carpentry
