Hydrocraft Pools is a newly established Western Australian business specialising in swimming pool construction, refurbishment and renovation. Having relocated from England seven months ago, the owners bring many years of experience and a proven track record of building successful swimming pool projects.

Working across both the north and south metropolitan areas of Perth, Hydrocraft Pools offers a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to learn a skilled trade from the ground up and develop into a fully qualified tiler.

About the Opportunity

We are seeking expressions of interest from motivated candidates looking to commence a career in the tiling industry through a formal apprenticeship.

This hands-on role will see you working alongside an experienced tradesperson, learning all aspects of swimming pool tiling, preparation and installation while gaining a nationally recognised qualification.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with swimming pool preparation and tiling works
• Perform general labouring duties and maintain clean, organised work areas
• Mix adhesives, grouts, renders and other tiling materials
• Prepare surfaces and assist with waterproofing applications
• Learn how to measure, cut and install tiles accurately
• Assist with grouting, finishing and detailing work
• Use and maintain tools and equipment safely
• Follow workplace health and safety procedures
• Work collaboratively with the team and follow instructions from supervisors

Essential Requirements

• Driver's licence preferred but not essential
• If you do not hold a driver's licence, you must be able to reliably travel to Secret Harbour by 6:00am Monday to Friday
• Commitment to completing an apprenticeship and developing a long-term career in the trade
