Beyond Residential is a forward-thinking residential building company based in Perth’s southern suburbs. With a tight-knit team of six, they specialise in boutique townhouses, custom homes, and innovative construction methods including steel framing, timber framing, and structural insulated panels.
Their commitment to craftsmanship and education sets them apart. Apprentices are immersed in all aspects of the build processâfrom structural framing and roofing to external cladding and fit-off carpentry. The team also operates a growing tiny home and transportable division, crafting studio pods and granny flats on trailers.
With most staff and leadership in their early 30s, Beyond Residential fosters a culture of growth, collaboration, and genuine passion for residential construction.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Beyond Residential is seeking a motivated and hands-on Apprentice Carpenter to join their full-time team. This is a rare chance to gain broad exposure across multiple facets of residential building, working alongside experienced tradespeople in a supportive and energetic environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist framing carpenters and roofers with structural builds (walls, floors, stairs, etc.)
- Support the finishing supervisor with fit-off carpentry (doors, shelving, skirtings, flooring)
- Contribute to the construction of transportable buildings in the warehouse
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Be eager to learn and develop a wide range of practical skills
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Follow instructions effectively and think critically when required
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENT:
Current Driver’s License
