Finishing school, studying at TAFE or ready to start a trade? We’re looking for motivated people to join our team and learn practical skills in fire protection.

What is a dry fire apprentice?
Dry fire is the detection and alarm side of fire protection. As an apprentice, you’ll learn to install, test and maintain systems such as smoke detectors, fire alarm panels and occupant warning systems that help keep people and buildings safe.

 

What you will learn

• Install cabling, conduit, detectors and alarm equipment.
• Read drawings and help set out equipment on site.
• Assist with system testing, commissioning and fault finding.
• Use tools safely and complete job records.
• Work alongside experienced technicians and complete your apprenticeship training.

Who we are looking for
Reliable, keen to learn and comfortable with hands-on work. An interest in technology, problem solving and working as part of a team is a great start. School leavers and TAFE students are encouraged to apply.
