Flooring Apprentice â Floors of Distinction (Cockburn Central)
Floors of Distinction is a well-established flooring business that has been operating for over 26 years, providing high-quality flooring solutions across Perth. The company specialises in the supply and installation of solid timber, engineered timber, bamboo, hybrid, and laminate flooring.

Floors of Distinction is currently seeking a motivated and reliable Flooring Apprentice to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification in Flooring Technology.
The successful applicant will assist experienced tradespeople in:
Installing, maintaining, and repairing flooring, including timber, hybrid, and laminate products.
Measuring, cutting, and fitting flooring accurately under supervision.
Preparing and maintaining clean and safe work areas.
Delivering flooring materials to job sites (a valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle are required).
Supporting the team with both on-site and in-showroom tasks.
Following company procedures and adhering to workplace health and safety standards.

Basic physical fitness and the ability to handle materials and tools safely.
Attention to detail and pride in producing quality workmanship.
A positive attitude, adaptability, and enthusiasm for learning new skills.
A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Completion of Year 10 or equivalent (or currently undertaking relevant studies).
Genuine interest in flooring, carpentry, or the broader construction industry.
Previous work experience or a pre-apprenticeship in a trade (advantageous but not essential).
