About the Role

This apprenticeship is ideal for someone enthusiastic about hair, beauty and current trends. You will learn from experienced stylists while developing strong foundational skills in a professional salon environment.

General Duties

  • Greeting clients and providing a warm, professional first impression
  • Maintaining salon cleanliness, organisation and hygiene standards
  • Assisting stylists with shampooing, conditioning, basic treatments and head massages
  • Preparing clients for services including cuts and colours
  • Mixing colours and preparing products under supervision
  • Preparing refreshments for clients
  • Wearing correct PPE as outlined in the staff handbook
  • Managing laundry, stock levels and general salon upkeep
  • Following salon procedures, safety and hygiene standards
  • Always providing excellent customer service
  • Being a proactive and supportive team member
