Ulti-Mech is seeking two motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Parts Interpreters to join our Newman team.
As a regional Western Australian automotive and heavy vehicle service provider, Ulti-Mech delivers light and heavy vehicle repairs, automotive electrical services, parts support, field service, breakdown assistance, and inspection services. Our Newman branch supports local industry, fleet operators, and community customers while investing in the next generation of skilled automotive professionals.
About the RoleAs a Trainee Parts Interpreter, you will learn all aspects of the parts department, including:
- Parts identification and interpretation
- Customer enquiries, quoting, and sales
- Ordering parts and managing stock levels
- Receipting and dispatching inventory
- Inventory control and stock management
- Supplying parts to workshop technicians
- Maintaining parts records and catalogues
- General parts department operations
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Organised and detail-oriented
- Confident communicating with customers and team members
- Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
- Interested in automotive, heavy vehicle, or mechanical industries
- Able to work effectively within a team environment
School leavers, mature-age applicants, and career changers are encouraged to apply.
Desirable Requirements- Driver's licence preferred
- Previous automotive or parts experience advantageous but not required
- Genuine interest in the automotive industry
- Full-time traineeship
- Certificate III in Automotive Sales (AUR31020)
