Parlor Hair Company have an exciting opportunity to join their team as an Apprentice Hairdresser!

ABOUT THE BUSINESS

Parlor Hair is a friendly and busy salon located in the Broadwater Shopping Center. They pride themselves on being welcoming and professional, and also value teamwork and producing beautiful hair styles. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

The successful candidate will be enrolled to complete a hairdressing apprenticeship supported by Parlor Hair and a nominated Registered Training Organisation (RTO). 

Responsibilities and duties

• Greeting clients and answering phones
• General salon cleaning duties
• Assisting seniors, including hands-on support as you progress through the apprenticeship.
• Use of point of sale and eftpos
• Content creation for social media when required
• Standard apprentice duties as learnt through TAFE and on-the-job training.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be reliable, friendly, and honest
• Be able to work in a team environment
• Be presentable and eager to learn
• Be comfortable with computers and using booking software
• Have reliable transport to and from work
• Be available to work full-time, including a late night and Saturday's
• Be willing and committed to attending TAFE when required
