Their customer base is mainly mining but also includes oil & gas, manufacturing and agricultural.They aim to give the best value to customers by offering high quality services with the in-depth knowledge to resolve any problems customers are experiencing.A 10-person team that work together and share knowledge to achieve goals.They work on all brands of hydraulic pumps motors and valves. They have highly skilled tradesmen with many years of experience. All work is carried out in house to control quality and response times. Responsibilities and Duties:As an apprentice you will work under the guidance of a mentor tradesman, you will safely assist the tradesman in his duties whilst learning the disciplines required.  As your skills improve you will be given tasks and repairs to complete on your own if we believe you are competent to do so. We encourage ongoing communication to check with the mentor that you are completing your work correctly and that you understand the techniques, tolerances and function of the components and systems that you are working on.A description of a typical work process for a hydraulic component would be;Use of appropriate personal protection equipment such as eye and ear protectionDisassembly and inspection of component or systemUse of measuring equipment such as micrometres, depth gauges and muti-metersCompiling reports and required parts lists.Operation of resurfacing equipment such as lapping and milling machinesRebuilding of components to manufactures procedures and specifications.High pressure testing of the repaired components and all relevant settings Hydraulic Component Services work with heavy equipment and components as well as high pressure testing. Not handled correctly this can be dangerous.
