Generally, you will start out on doing day shifts and will be trained on other aspects of working in the kitchen such as:Learning how to handle knives and other equipmentDeveloping knife skills - learning to cut different types of meat, vegetables, etc.Learn on how to control food portionsAssist with food preparation alongside other chefsSupporting kitchen staff during serviceOther general chef duties as required About youThe ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate the following:Great attitude and outlook towards workWillingness to learn and improveTaking a great pride of their workA genuine interest and passion for cooking.
