ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

Tiny Turtle Baby Food is a locally owned small business that produces food for babies and toddlers in Perth. They've been operating for 5 years and have an established home-delivery service in addition to 40+ stockist's in Perth and WA Regional areas.

ABOUT THE TRAINEESHIP

The successful candidate will be enrolled to complete a Certificate III in Food Processing being supported by Tiny Turtle Baby Food and a nominated Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

The key responsibilities and duties:

• Food preparation and cooking with a focus on providing high quality products.
• Assist with operating production packing equipment.
• Assist with preparing the weekly production schedules.
• Assist with monitoring food safety and quality programs.
• Contribute to workplace health and safety.

The required skills and attributes:

• Previous kitchen experience is highly regarded.
• Good communication skills.
• A positive attitude.
• Good organisation and time management.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Committed to the full traineeship.
