Local family-owned landscaping business, operating since 2015. Offering all types of gardening maintenance and retic services. The business specialises in garden maintenance however they undertake a wide range of landscape and horticultural related work including large industrial and commercial properties, residential landscaping. 

ABOUT THE ROLE

Fitzscapes are currently seeking an energetic and motivated individual to join their team on a Full-time basis and undertake a traineeship in Horticulture.

Roles and responsibilities will include: (not limited to):

• Planting & irrigation.
• Preparing and maintaining gardens.
• Using various types of equipment such as mowers, snippets, edgers and hedgers.
• Promoting safe work practices in a team environment.
• Assist with the development and implementation of landscape maintenance programs and strategies.

ABOUT YOU

The successful applicant will be a person will preferably possess the following skills and attributes:

• Previous experience (Highly regarded, but not essential)
• C-Class Driver’s License (Highly regarded, but not essential)
• Ability to provide a police clearance.
• Physically fit and self-motivated
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Demonstrates reliability and punctuality.
• Adaptability to a changing environment as per the demands of the business
• Basic oral and written literacy and numeracy skills.
• Basic knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety.
