About the RoleCore Data WA is seeking an Administration Assistant to undertake a range of tasks in support of our research team. This is a part-time (15 hours/week) 18-month fixed-term role based in our office in Perth CBD.    Hours would be spread over Monday, Wednesday and/or Thursday with flexibility in start and finish times and distribution of hours.  The role is offered as a traineeship, with the successful candidate supported to undertake and complete a Certificate III in Business as part of their employment.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWhile this is a junior role within our team, it is critical in enabling us to deliver high-quality outcomes for our clients.  As such, we are seeking someone who is committed, highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail and who takes pride in their work. We are a small team working in a fast-paced environment, so good interpersonal and communication skills are also a must. Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Insights, your primary duties and responsibilities in this role would include:Entry of research related data into reporting templates and spreadsheetsScanning and photocopying of research documentationPreparation and mailing of research documentation packsFiling (electronic and paper-based) and record-keepingSupport with project administration and other office tasks as requiredThe role may evolve to include some client communication and meeting-related tasks, supporting the team with customer service, scheduling and reporting tasks. Skills and ExperienceExperience working in an office-based role and/or completion of a Certificate II in Business or similar is desirable.  Alternatively, you may have relevant transferable skills gained in other types of employment.
